Our Company

WAVR is an NSF-funded UNLV startup founded in 2024. WAVR is developing next-generation atmospheric water harvesting technology capable of delivering reliable, scalable water in some of the world’s most challenging environments. WAVR is working with multiple Fortune 1,000 companies to help them achieve their strategic, resilience and water sustainability goals.

The company is building a portfolio of pending patents and trade secrets that cover its groundbreaking technology.

WAVR’s mission is to make atmospheric water harvesting a mainstream approach to   practical, reliable, and affordable production of pure water.

Our Team

The WAVR team combines breakthrough scientific innovation with real-world engineering and commercialization expertise, and is led by mission-driven leadership. As citizens of the driest city and state in the US, the team lives amidst the realities of drought, rising temperatures, increased evaporation rates, and ever-present water stress.

The people of WAVR are obsessed with securing the future of water and are committed to building water systems the world can depend on.

Impact and Sustainability — Building a Water-Secure World

A sustainable future requires more than re-use and conservation. It requires whole new sources of freshwater that are climate-resilient, geographically flexible, and economically practical.

WAVR supports:
